Lamborghini Aventador was the star of the Geneva Motor Show this year. Excitement was high at the Lambo-stands as one of the most anticipated cars of the year was to be unveiled for the first time. This was probably the reason why the company opted to schedule the launch of the Gallardo Tricolore for a later day as the limelight was focussed on the Aventador.
Earlier in the year Lamborghini had brought us a special edition Gallardo Bicolore now, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Italian unification, they have come up with the Tricolore which features the three Italian colors as an offset pinstripe. The new Gallardo special edition will only be available in white though.
Details about the powertrain are not yet available. The super car might get any one of the three configurations of Lamborghini’s 5.2 litre V10′s. What drivetrain will the Tricolore feature, will only be known when Lamborghini release details about the car and so will the transmission options. One more thing you need to keep in mind is that, this is going to be a limited production model.
